Q: Why do I need to move my website? What does website migration include?
A: The website migration service that we are offering is free of cost (within a certain limit). We will transfer your website(s) to our top–tier cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from personal experience that switching hosting providers can lead to lost data and undesired downtime. This is the reason why we’ll accomplish all that for you for free!We have trained administrators whose main task is to ensure that your web site performs exactly as it did on your previous hosting platform. Our administrators are well–versed in migrating custom–made sites, as well as sites that are based on famous apps such as WordPress and Joomla™.

Q: How long will it take for my website to be migrated over to your platform?
A: While we cannot give you an exact time window, since there are lots of variables, among them the size of the files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll do our very best to move your site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (when the content is not very large).

Q: What details will I be required to give to your Website Migration Department?
A: Yep. We’ll need the name of the website that you’d like us to migrate. We’ll also need a way to log in to your old hosting account so that we can get the files associated with your website.

Q: The login details for my hosting account are sensitive. How can I rely on you?

Q: Will there be any outage for my web site?
A: While we migrate your website, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your former web hosting provider. As soon as the transfer is done, we will ensure that everything is working correctly and that the integrity of your content is not affected prior to notifying you that the migration is over. After that, we’ll instruct you how to transfer the domain to your web hosting account with us and how to edit your DNS records.

Q: Will my present web hosting provider need to provide any information/help?
A: While we move your content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will not get in touch with them in any way.

Q: Does it make any difference what platform my present provider is using?
A: Yes. We support all common Linux–powered hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–based web hosting platforms, as we do not provide Windows hosting solutions ourselves.Furthermore, we do not support proprietary website building and administration tools such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
